Book binding for portfolio - using bolts/screws?
We are asked to design a portfolio for school and im thinking of using screws instead of the usual binding like staple binding or perfect binding. I did research some images online and notice there are people using screws and bolts to bind their portfolio too. i think it's really kewl.
So.... What kind of screws are used to bind books? Is there a name for it? I bought this hex head bolt screw but it is like too long at the end.. doesnt look ok for a portfolio.
Another 'screw-like' type of binding i came across is 'eyelets'. But for eyelets, i think once i punch the eyelet in, i couldnt remove it anymore, can i? (i have never tried using eyelets)
