so i cut what i think was the heater inlet hose, the biggest one extending from the firewall, sort of from behind where the gauges are in the car, coming off a big sort of cylindrical casing (not much depth but a good size perimeter). I inserted the T piece (prestone flush kit) attached the clamps screwed in the hose connector to the T piece (one side black other side yellow facing outwards and a plastic pipe for the water to run thru [with slits in it??]) anyway I twisted out a plug/plastice screw with a little thing on it to twist out, all the coolant leaked out as predicted. I ran the hose (it leaks water out those slits and all over the insides of my car...) I tried to start the engine but there was 0 coolant left? I don't know if that mattered, I had the heater on and the fan on so it would do its thing as i let the car idle but I try to start the car and it just sticks when I twist the keys (as in the engine sticks and doesnt start? best word I could think to describe)
if the engine was running while the coolant was leaveing you may have over-heated the engine which does not sound good 300 v-6 just guessin let it cool off and try turning it over after puttin water back in it but it sounds like you busted the heater core which is in the dash and a pain in the ass to repair so plug off both lines that run into the firewall and get it to a mechanic to see if this is what has happened
