The performance "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf" was first put on platform in 1975. Tyler Perry, translated this performance for the large screen. This interpretation opens on November 5 around the United States. The translation from poetical 1974 play to 2010 film, nevertheless, may not have been entirely successful.
The play, 'For Colored Girls'
In 1975, playwright Ntozake Shange wrote "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf." Poems are told within the play. Seven black women have their stories told via this. Lady in Red, Lady in Green, etc., are the ways that the women are identified. In 1977, the play had been nominated for a Tony for Best Play. Since then, it has been awarded Tony Award for Best Featured Actress, Theater World Award and Drama Desk Award.
The movie 'For Colored Girls'
Tyler Perry is directing the movie “For Colored Girls” after writing and producing it. Tyler Perry's participation within the "For Colored Girls" movie has been questioned by many individuals. The movie adaption wasn’t bad though. He did a good job. The movie attempts to weave the poems of the original "For Colored Girls" play in with the newest movie script. From time to time it is powerful. It is moving too. At others, the poems almost seem to distract from the storyline.
Performances in 'For Colored Girls' are really strong
The performances were strong in the movie. That had been the best part of the “For Colored Girls” movie. The movie was much stronger with the all-star cast of strong women. Parts are played by Macy Gray, Janet Jackson and Whoopi Goldberg. The movie feels a bit “off” occasionally. This is likely as a result of “old” feeling that comes with the 1975 language. What are the effects of an INCREDIBLY strong but brief magnetic field on the human body?
Hey, I'm wondering what the effects of a magnetic field created by 20 or more kilojoules being used to power a coil gun with the coil being around you, and you inside of something metallic but pressurized. Anyone know?
I'm not all that impressed by 20 kJ. In magnetic resonance imaging a magnetic field of 1.5 - 2.0 T cuased nuclear spins to align with the field.and an RF pulse stimulates the return to the previous state. The signal emitted can be used to form an image of internal organs. There is no damage to tissue but people with a pacemaker should keep clear of such fields.
