I put the wheels on backwards on a Cozy Coupe and can't remove the red cap nuts to switch the wheels?

I was wanting to see if anyone knew how to remove the red cap nuts on a Cozy Coupe so I can switch the wheels to the right place.
I've tried to pry it with pliers and flathead screwdriver but that didn't really seem to help...it moved them a little but not all the way off. Is there a special tool to pry underneath them or something?

Pry them off with a pair of pliers and go to your local Home Depot or Lowes and buy some new ones. They have those little plastic/metal cap nuts in several sizes.
