Designer Glasses Are about Style and Substance
Choosing new glasses or sunglasses changes the way you look.Glasses are not purely a functional thing to help you see more clearly, they also say something about your personality and individuality. You have to be comfortable in your glasses and confident that you look good too, which explains why so many people are choosing to buy designer glasses and designer sunglasses nowadays.
There is no end to the number of different frames available in a neverending selection of colours, materials and shapes. The seemingly endless options can be a little overwhelming. If you're buying designer glasses obviously it's important to think about the image you want to give. For work wear a more sensible and plain style may be more appropriate. If you want to make a statement and go for bright unrestrained glasses there are dozens of recognised designer brands out there, including Prada glasses for example that combine an intrinsic sense of style with the name recognition that is more of a fashion and lifestyle statement. Whichever way you lean, choose designer glasses to suit the shape of your face and not just your outfits or your desired social standing. This is just as important when deciding on designer sunglasses.
Oval shaped or rounded frames are best suited to a square face. If you have a broad forehead tapering to a small chin and mouth try smaller styles, slender rounded or square with lower set sides. Avoid styles that are wider at the top as these will accentuate the face shape rather than balance it and look at styles without decorative detail on the temples as this will have the same effect. Wider styles suit those with wider foreheads, full cheeks and a rounded face.Small rounded styles and any large frames should be avoided as they will only make your face look more round.
If your face is a basic oval shape with a slightly wider forehead, curved jaw and high cheekbones you're lucky and can take your pick of any style as most will suit you. Long faces with high cheekbones and a deep forehead will suit wide frames and a strong top line. The perfect frames for an oval shaped face are large square shapes, though avoid smaller squares. Bold, bright designs will suit you if your face widens at the jaw, but narrower frames will not look so good.
With designer sunglasses in particular, remember that, aside from making you look good, the primary role of these items is still to protect your eyes from the harmful effects of UV radiation. If you can, try the glasses on for comfort, style and feel. Most importantly remember that the only person you really need to please is yourself!
What color and style eye makeup should I wear to my prom?
I have no idea what style or even color would look nice, so I'd love some suggestions. My gown is a trumpet shape with a halter top. It has silver beading under the bust and is white with red metallic flowers. It has a somewhat 1950's look to it overall. As for my coloring, I'm extremely pale with bleach blonde hair and blue eyes. I was thinking about maybe some sort of smokey eye thing, but I thought it would be better to get the input of others, so any thoughts?
try some silver/gray (light) color. If there is a 5 below store by you, they have great eye shadows that have glitter mixed in them. You get about 8 different colors for about $2. You could also try a lighter bronze color. My wedding dress was ivory and dark red and I used a bronze color eye shadow, it really brought out my eyes and blended good with the color of my dress. I too am pale. Start trying all types of colors and you will find the perfect one. Good luck, have fun!
