Which of these thread forms pertains to each use?
Ah, failed my drafting trimester exam and need help correcting it for a better grade. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Knuckle threads are used for light bulbs.
Sharp-V threads have been completely replaced by unified.
Buttress threads are used for power in one-direction.
I still can't figure out acme threads' use: "used in piping applications" or "same as square but easier to make"?
I've tried googling a ton of different key words and phrases and can't seem to find anything.
Also, which of these does NOT hold nuts secure?: tooth lock washer, spring lock washer, or flat washer?
The acme thread is similar to the square thread but not quite as strong and easier to make.
Flat washers do not hold nuts secure.
